BNN's man in Oceanside is reporting that center fielder Anthony Washington was seen coming out of the Sandsharks main offices with the general manager and owner in tow.
Does this mean that we'll be seeing Washington manning the field for the Sandsharks this coming season?

 | Tuesday, November 30th, 2027: Oceanside Swaps Romero to Curacao for Mills
Newspapers in Oceanside and Curacao reported that the Sandsharks have reached a deal sending 30-year old first baseman Guillermo Romero to the Cocktail for 33-year old reliever Bruce Mills and 19-year old minor league catcher Ken Coleman.
Romero has compiled a career batting average of .327 with 486 hits, 32 homers and 218 RBIs.
In his career Mills has racked up 50 wins, 37 losses and 14 saves. His lifetime ERA is 3.87 in 699.2 innings over 576 games. |

Several Spiders and Sandsharks players soon will have to start shopping for a new home. It was announced today that the two teams came to agreement on a trade. Mountain View will get 21-year old minor league catcher John Karinsson and Oceanside will pick up 22-year old reliever José López in return. "I'm not surprised by the news," one of the players told reporters, "It's part of the business, and I understand that. I am looking forward to playing for the Spiders."
