| Breaking News |  | Wednesday, December 29th, 2027: Steam Engines-Gators Trade Announced Done deal! The Scranton Steam Engines have agreed to send 25-year old right fielder Emery Cleveland to the Lowcountry Gators for 19-year old minor league starting pitcher Wendell Preston. The trade, rumored for days, was completed in the wee hours this morning.
Lifetime Cleveland is batting .266 and has totaled 29 home runs.
|  | Sunday, December 12th, 2027: Driftwood, Lowcountry Swap Players The general manager of the Driftwood Rabid Javelina has signed off on a trade for Lowcountry's 30-year old reliever James Robison. To complete the deal, the Rabid Javelina will send 29-year old left fielder Chris Griffin to the Gators.
During his career Griffin is batting .267 and has totaled 53 home runs.
Robison has pitched in 345 games over his career, posting 14 saves and a 25-11 won-lost mark. He has registered an ERA of 3.14, logged 404 innings and recorded 403 strikeouts. |  | Friday, November 19th, 2027: Rabid Javelina-Gators Deal: Moreno for Menéndez Driftwood and Lowcountry have agreed in principle to a trade. The Rabid Javelina will send 29-year old shortstop Luis Miguel Moreno and 22-year old minor league left fielder Doug Cashin to the Gators for 32-year old left fielder Ramiro Menéndez and 19-year old minor league starting pitcher Denis Cecon.The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete.
Career to date Moreno is hitting .260 with a total of 34 home runs.
