| Breaking News |  | Wednesday, December 29th, 2027: Steam Engines-Gators Trade Announced
Done deal! The Scranton Steam Engines have agreed to send 25-year old right fielder Emery Cleveland to the Lowcountry Gators for 19-year old minor league starting pitcher Wendell Preston. The trade, rumored for days, was completed in the wee hours this morning.
Lifetime Cleveland is batting .266 and has totaled 29 home runs.

| Saturday, December 4th, 2027: Havana, Scranton Make Trade
Havana and Scranton have agreed to a trade today. 27-year old starting pitcher Cipriano Aguilar will go to the Steam Engines. In exchange the Fuego will receive 24-year old minor league starting pitcher Shaun Quarry and 19-year old minor league catcher Vincent Nedelec.
Aguilar has fashioned a 4-8 won-lost record in his career with a 4.50 ERA.

The rumor has been out there for a while now, and today it was made official. The Scranton Steam Engines have sent 24-year old starting pitcher Chris Lockhart to the Mountain View Spiders for 18-year old minor league third baseman Martín Romero and 21-year old minor league second baseman Sigmund Jebens.
In his career stats Lockhart has a record of 24 wins and 27 losses and a 4.20 ERA. He has struck out 298 in 461 innings.
