| Breaking News | | Friday, December 10th, 2027: Hampton Roads, Raleigh Trade Made
25-year old catcher António Contreras will now be playing for the Raleigh Recalcitrants and 36-year old starting pitcher Raúl Amador will be suiting up for the Hampton Roads Scholars. The trade was announced today at a press conference by club officials.
His career numbers show Contreras is hitting .259 with a total of 5 home runs.
In his career Amador has fanned 1432 batters and walked 1057 in 2120 innings of work. His lifetime won-lost record is 128 victories and 136 defeats with a 4.36 ERA and opposing hitters have compiled a .252 against him. |
| Tuesday, November 23rd, 2027: Kaiserslautern-Raleigh Deal: Lee for Elizondo
The Kaiserslautern Wolves have parted ways with 34-year old second baseman Richard Lee in a trade with the Raleigh Recalcitrants for 26-year old reliever Mario Elizondo and 18-year old minor league second baseman Ed Carter. The Wolves general manager confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning.
For his career Lee has batted .240 and hit 82 home runs.
In his career Elizondo has made 211 appearances with a 19-14 record and tossed 278.2 innings with 222 strikeouts. Batters have hit .220 against him, his lifetime ERA stands at 3.10 and he has accumulated 18 saves. |
| Monday, November 1st, 2027: Sandsharks, Recalcitrants Agree to Swap
Signed. Sealed. Delivered.
Oceanside has worked out terms of a deal to send 28-year old left fielder Jeff Aubry to Raleigh for 25-year old first baseman Jonathan Davenport. Both teams expect to introduce the players to their new teammates within a day or two.
Aubry has registered a career batting average of .267 with 160 hits, 32 homers and 99 RBIs.
