| Breaking News |  | Wednesday, December 1st, 2027: Charlottesville, MR Lambert Have Discussions
Talk of a deal between the aging superstar Steve Lambert and Charlottesville appear to be picking up as the two sides have reportedly met to negotiate their options.
Sources tell BNN that Lambert has been presented an offer of $5,640,000 per year and that he's considering the deal as BNN heads to press.

The Jeffersonians and the Ruffians finalized a deal this afternoon. Charlottesville has traded 25-year old third baseman Marcos Díaz and 21-year old minor league center fielder Rody Wellenberg and in return Rusholme will receive 27-year old reliever Vicente Fernández and 19-year old minor league right fielder Martin Obel.
In 113 career games Díaz has batted .257 with 77 hits with 12 doubles, 1 triple and 5 home runs. He has also collected 35 RBIs and scored 33 runs.
