| Breaking News | | Sunday, November 7th, 2027: 2027 IBC Best Rookie Named
The 2027 International Baseball Conference Newcomer of the Year Award has gone to Gerald Dancy of the Grand Junction Silverbacks.
In his debut season he hit .308, drove in 69 runs, and scored 90 times while playing in 144 games. The 24-year-old newcomer also had 20 doubles, 5 triples, and 14 home runs. |
| Thursday, November 4th, 2027: Off-Field Accident Sidelines Ch'a
Silverbacks officials have acknowledged that closer Dae-je Ch'a will be out for 5 days with an undisclosed injury. The injury occurred while cutting a brownie out of a pan.
Ch'a has appeared in 337 games in his career and saved 142 of them. |
 | Monday, October 25th, 2027: World Series to Sword Masters
2027 has been good to the Toledo Sword Masters. Not only did they end up in first place during the regular season with a 90-72 record, they were the World Order Of Baseball champions. The Sword Masters won the World Series for the 1st time.
A 4-3 triumph over the Grand Junction Silverbacks at Sword Masters Ballpark brought home the trophy to Toledo. They won the series 5-4. |
