Kaiserslautern fans were pleased with the signing of John Boutillier today. The 39-year-old inked a 2-year, $6,620,000 deal with the Wolves.
Though his numbers don't jump out at you, Boutillier does fill a void for Kaiserslautern, according to several respected analysts.
During his career Boutillier has hit .285 with 1705 hits, 171 home runs, 854 RBIs and scored 932 runs. |

The Kaiserslautern Wolves presented 35-year-old veteran Cecil Kern to the media today as they finalized a $6,270,000-per-year deal that brings the right fielder to town for 2 years.
Kern has a reputation as one of the smartest guys in the clubhouse, and Kaiserslautern officials hope they can get as much out of Kern in the dugout as they can on the field.
