| Breaking News |  | Friday, October 6th, 2006: Gators Lose Cunningham for 1-2 Weeks
Medical officials from the Lowcountry Gators reported that the club's 33-year-old starting pitcher, Darrell Cunningham, suffered a tender wrist ligament in yesterday's matchup against the Baltimore Blue Claws while throwing a pitch. Cunningham is expected to miss 1-2 weeks of action.
In 2006 Cunningham has compiled a 18-7 mark with a 3.13 ERA.

Sources familiar with dealings between Clyde Mack and Lowcountry report that the two sides have pushed aside their differences and worked out an extension.
The 30-year-old agreed to a $3,370,000 deal that will have him playing at Ravenel Stadium for the next 1 year.
Mack has 2 saves in 45 relief appearances this season with a 11-6 record and 3.13 ERA.

Patrick Moore is staying put. The Lowcountry Gators second baseman inked a $23,680,000 extension, and will play in Lowcountry another 2 years.
Thus far this year Moore is hitting .337 with 1 home run, 45 RBIs and 65 runs scored.
