| Breaking News |  | Saturday, November 11th, 2006: Humphrey, De Jesús Swap Clubs
Done deal! The Toronto Fire have agreed to send 29-year old catcher Patrick Humphrey to the San Francisco Gold Rush for 21-year old minor league first baseman Marcos De Jesús. The trade, rumored for days, was completed in the wee hours this morning.
Over his career Humphrey has batted .237 and collected 60 hits, 4 home runs and 37 RBIs.

The Fire may be close to working out a deal to trade Harry Weeks. That's the latest news from the rumor mill. Weeks, the 35-year-old shortstop, has said privately that he will not balk at a trade to another team.

 | Thursday, September 14th, 2006: Toronto-New York Announce Deal
Toronto and New York have made a swap. Players involved in the transaction are the Fire 25-year old reliever Doug Brown and the Enforcers 23-year old minor league catcher Jon Lutz.
So far this season Brown is 3-and-2 with 2 saves and a 2.88 ERA. He has given up 67 hits in 72 innings with 44 strikeouts.
