North American Baseball Alliance 11-11-2006 Home | | | Breaking News |  | Saturday, November 11th, 2006: Prado for Soto in Big Trade Players on both teams seemed a bit stunned as they cleaned out lockers this afternoon. They had just learned that the Columbus and Mexico City had just concluded a blockbuster trade. 26-year old closer Edgar Prado went to Aztecs and 28-year old second baseman Adrián Soto to the Mudcats. One of the players told reporters, "Baseball's a business. I know that. That doesn't make the jolt of being traded any less painful."
During his career Prado has been credited with 29 saves, while compiling a 28-16 won-lost mark.
For his career Soto has hit at a .276 clip. Among his lifetime numbers are 802 hits, 187 doubles, 21 triples, 81 home runs and 444 RBIs. |  | Saturday, November 11th, 2006: Massachusetts, New York Make Deal Fans in Massachusetts woke up this morning to learn that their team had traded 24-year old third baseman Woody Hinxman to the New York Enforcers. In return, the Pilgrims will receive 23-year old minor league third baseman Premysl Herold and 24-year old minor league right fielder Luis Ramos.
Hinxman's career batting average stands at .255, and he has 10 home runs.
|  | Saturday, November 11th, 2006: Humphrey, De Jesús Swap Clubs Done deal! The Toronto Fire have agreed to send 29-year old catcher Patrick Humphrey to the San Francisco Gold Rush for 21-year old minor league first baseman Marcos De Jesús. The trade, rumored for days, was completed in the wee hours this morning.
Over his career Humphrey has batted .237 and collected 60 hits, 4 home runs and 37 RBIs.
