Done deal! The Phoenix Apaches have agreed to send 30-year old catcher Mike Dennis to the Nashville Hawks for 32-year old reliever Rick Smith. The trade, rumored for days, was completed in the wee hours this morning.
During his career Dennis has chalked up 446 hits and a .269 average with 15 home runs and 175 RBIs.
Smith's career stats shape up like this: In 597.1 innings, he has struck out 335, walked 175 and saved 95 games, while compiling a 36-32 record and a 3.66 ERA.

Media analysts hailed Phoenix's signing of Steven Dillon, one of North American Baseball Alliance's brightest stars, as a pivotal move.
