Fans in Houston woke up this morning to learn that their team had traded 28-year old reliever José Tobías to the Seattle Steelheads. In return, the Lone Stars will receive 23-year old minor league third baseman Aaron Kimball.
For his career Tobías has put together a won-lost record of 7-8. In 271.1 innings he has produced 171 strikeouts and a 3.65 ERA with 5 saves.

The Lone Stars and Fire confirmed this afternoon that a trade had been agreed upon. In the deal, Houston will get 18-year old minor league third baseman John Love, while Toronto will receive 27-year old minor league reliever Pedro García.
García owns a 5-6 won-lost record with a 3.69 ERA for his career. In 75 games he has recorded no saves, and the 27-year-old has 63 strikeouts in 105 innings of work.

Officials for Toronto confirmed that they have traded 25-year old left fielder Hélder Shearman to the Houston Lone Stars. In return, the Fire will receive 23-year old minor league shortstop Jeremy Krieger.
Shearman is hitting at a .296 rate over his 227-game career. Lifetime he has 48 doubles, 12 triples and 16 home runs with 106 RBIs and 106 runs scored.
