He went on a rampage at Tornado Alley and paced the Tornado to a 10-4 win over the Dallas Oil Kings.
After his dynamite batting performance the Oklahoma City second baseman told the press, "I just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid some great dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book.
A. Becker singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off C. Días in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
Currently Becker has 2 home runs and a .307 batting average. | | | | Team Information | | Record overall | 78-84, .481 PCT | | Position in Division | 4th, 27.0 GB | | Record at home | 41-40, .506 PCT | | Record on the road | 37-44, .457 PCT | | Record in X-inning games | 6-9, .400 PCT | | Record in one-run games | 30-28, .517 PCT | | Record versus LHP | 25-20, .556 PCT | | Record versus RHP | 53-64, .453 PCT | | Record last 10 games | 4-6, .400 PCT | | Record in April | 7-9, .438 PCT | | Record in May | 13-15, .464 PCT | | Record in June | 14-16, .467 PCT | | Record in July | 16-12, .571 PCT | | Record in August | 17-11, .607 PCT | | Record in September | 7-18, .280 PCT | | Record in October | 4-3, .571 PCT |
