Friday, December 12th, 2177: Los Angeles-Oklahoma City Deal Confirmed
The players apparently knew they were on the trading block, so it did not surprise one of them when he learned that he had been traded to Los Angeles. "Got my bags packed already," he said, when reached for comment. The Whales will receive 26-year old starting pitcher Tommy Byrne, while 34-year old right fielder Bill Bennett will go to the Oklahoma City Tornado.

Bennett has a career .249 average with 847 hits, 136 doubles, 41 triples, 88 home runs, 403 RBIs, and 526 runs scored to date.

In his career stats Byrne has a record of 19 wins and 16 losses and a 3.61 ERA. He has struck out 266 in 306.2 innings.
Saturday, December 6th, 2177: Fire Send Trujillo to Los Angeles
The Fire and the Whales finalized a deal this afternoon. Toronto has traded for 24-year old minor league shortstop William Daniel and in return Los Angeles will receive 26-year old starting pitcher Júlio Trujillo.

Thus far in his career, Trujillo has 21 victories and 23 defeats with a 4.70 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .277 average.

Saturday, November 22nd, 2177: Orlando Trades Suzuki to Los Angeles for Vargas
The Orlando Seminoles announced a deal with the Whales today, sending 30-year old third baseman Matsudaira Suzuki to Los Angeles for 34-year old third baseman Alejandro Vargas. It had been talked about for the past few weeks and everything came together late last night. All players are expected to be joining their respective clubs shortly.

In his career Suzuki has hit .267 with 593 hits, 119 doubles, 25 triples and 26 home runs. His totals also include 238 RBIs and 242 runs scored.

Vargas is hitting .255 during his 1201-game career. He has 749 hits, 169 doubles, 26 triples, 121 home runs, 456 RBIs, 3 stolen bases and 368 runs scored.
