Newspapers in Mexico City and Nashville reported that the Aztecs have reached a deal sending 24-year old first baseman Kevin Morrison to the Hawks for 18-year old minor league second baseman Yasuoka Koike.
Over his career Morrison is batting .230 with 15 doubles, 3 triples, 9 home runs, 41 RBIs and scored 29 runs in 148 games.

| Friday, December 12th, 2177: Phoenix, Nashville Close Deal
Done deal! The Phoenix Apaches have agreed to send 30-year old catcher Mike Dennis to the Nashville Hawks for 32-year old reliever Rick Smith. The trade, rumored for days, was completed in the wee hours this morning.
During his career Dennis has chalked up 446 hits and a .269 average with 15 home runs and 175 RBIs.
Smith's career stats shape up like this: In 597.1 innings, he has struck out 335, walked 175 and saved 95 games, while compiling a 36-32 record and a 3.66 ERA.

The rumor has been out there for a while now and today it was made official. The Nashville Hawks have sent 21-year old starting pitcher Joe May to the Mexico City Aztecs for 19-year old minor league first baseman Pat Ferrell and 19-year old minor league third baseman Juan Bermúdez.
Over his career May has 3 victories and 2 defeats with a 5.06 ERA. The 21-year-old hurler also has struck out 46 batters in 58.2 innings and surrendered 65 hits.
