| Breaking News | | Sunday, November 9th, 2177: EC's Top Rookie Honored
The Eastern Circuit Rookie Of The Year Award honoree has been picked for 2177 and the winner is Georgia first baseman Danny Thomas.
The talented Rattlesnakes first baseman took the trophy by hitting .302 in 157 games this season and finishing with 164 hits, 23 home runs, 65 RBIs and 78 runs scored.

| Sunday, November 2nd, 2177: Major Swap: Silva for White
After putting the finishing touches on a blockbuster deal, the Baltimore Blue Claws and Georgia Rattlesnakes toasted their success earlier today. The deal involves 28-year old starting pitcher Stan White, who joined the Blue Claws in exchange for 33-year old third baseman César Silva and $1,583,000 in cash.
Silva has played in 1019 games with a .273 career batting average and 879 hits. He also has scored 392 runs and driven in 394 runs with 118 home runs.
In his career White has chalked up 53 wins and 60 losses and compiled a 4.11 ERA.

| Sunday, September 21st, 2177: Georgia's Gould Will Miss Season
Bill Gould has to call it a season. The Georgia Rattlesnakes starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Havana Pirates and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Gould was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a strained tricep muscle and stated that he would not be able to play for 3 weeks.
So far in 2177 Gould has compiled a 3-0 record with a 0.79 ERA.
