The Pilgrims and Enforcers pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 25-year old left fielder José Salinas head to New York in exchange for 23-year old minor league closer Kuniaki Eida. A source close to Massachusetts officials said "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs."
During his career Salinas is batting .232 and has totaled 2 home runs.

 | Wednesday, November 5th, 2177: Massachusetts, Havana Confirm Trade
Newspapers in Massachusetts and Havana reported that the Pilgrims have reached a deal sending 25-year old right fielder Ross Miller to the Pirates for 22-year old minor league first baseman Howard Edmonds and 19-year old minor league shortstop Miguel Baca.
During his career Miller has hit for a .277 average and totaled 62 hits, 2 home runs and 29 RBIs.

| Sunday, November 2nd, 2177: Thompson and Garza Dealt
Several Black Knights and Pilgrims players soon will have to start shopping for a new home. It was announced today that the two teams came to agreement on a trade. Oakland will get 21-year old minor league third baseman José Garza and 21-year old minor league right fielder Gabriel Ramos and Massachusetts will pick up 29-year old starting pitcher Gavin Thompson in return. "I'm not surprised by the news," one of the players told reporters, "It's part of the business and I understand that. I am looking forward to playing for the Black Knights."
In his career Thompson has posted a record of 26-29 and compiled a 4.05 ERA.
